We have had many copies of this book, all to have since found new homes with those who could use some inspiration or to those who just wanted to keep D’s warrior mantra nearby. This book has been an inspiration to myself, my students, and anyone lucky enough to have read it. Every time I read this book it reminds me to stay strong and keep pushing. No matter what I am facing, it reminds me to do so with an open heart. Nicole is an amazing writer with a huge heart and it shows through her work. I highly recomend this book for anyone, big or small, fighting a battle or to teach about perserverence and Love. 💙💙💙
This is a wonderful book written by Nicole DeRosa Cannella, co-authored by Dorian Murray. Dorian “D-Strong” Murray, the 8-year-old diagnosed with alveolar rhabdomyosarcoma, a rare form of pediatric cancer, dreamt of being famous, then achieved it through the power of the internet. Though Dorian succumbed to the illness earlier this month, efforts not only to continue his legacy but also to provide support for other families takes its first step today with the release of Leaving a Mark, a children’s book co-authored byDorian Murray and Nicole DeRosa Cannella and released through Lampion Press. I was able to see the very first copy and had Dorian read some of it to me. It is a must have book to have. Proceeds go to a wonderful cause. Fight CHILDHOOD CANCER!
